About The Artist:
Maryann Bonura
Ever since she could remember, MaryAnn has always had a passion for art. She has created beautiful works from a very young age. Her passion, however was put on hold to be a mother to her 5 beautiful children. After postponing her dreams of being an artist for over 20 years, she decided to pick up her paint brushes again. In 2016, with the love and support of her family, she and her daughter opened MBonura Fine Arts Gallery and Studio in the historic lake front area of Mandeville, Louisiana. After a few years of running a successful gallery, MaryAnn closed the doors of the MBonura Fine Art Gallery and Studio. Leaving for a new adventure in Laguna Niguel, California and then an exciting RV tour around the USA she is back in her beautiful studio where she teaches art classes enthusiastic students and sells her beautiful works to new and old collectors.
About The Art:
Although MaryAnn has taken some formal classes, she is a mostly self taught artist. She is constantly studying the old masters, their styles and their techniques. Being the multi-talented artist that she is, she masterfully creates art using many styles and mediums. You can see this through her different works of abstract, abstraction, realism, photo realism, and others that she has successfully executed for her many clients.
